Rembrandt Studio is a family owned business, made up of husband and wife team, James and Angela Owens.

Angela Owens

I started out taking pictures 15 years ago at Wal-Mart Portrait Studio's in Frankfort, KY area. What's funny is that I wasn't born with a camera in my hands, but I was born with a love for people. After working with Wal-Mart for 6 months, I realised that I had a gift when the district manager came in with a team of her managers to study my techniques. In only 6 months of being on the job, I had the highest sales in 3 states! Within 2 years, I undertook additional studies with New York Institute of Photography and decided to start my own business. I now live in French Lick, IN and have expanded the business from being a hobby to a full time wedding business. My greatest accomplishment to date is my three children - Travis, Lucas and Noah. Outside of the home, I'm active in my church, Victory Baptist Church as the minister of music and I enjoy traveling. Recently, my duties have been expanded to manage a new wedding chapel - Glen Valley Wedding Chapel, here in French Lick.

James Owens

I started taking pictures with Angela when she opened shop 13 years ago. By day, I work in the IT department at EMC in Louisville, KY as a storage specialist. When working with Angela, I typically get the more "artisic shots" during the ceremony and reception. I currently do not commit to photographing more than 6 weddings a year. Outside of work, my passion is tending to my vegetable garden and fishing. I'm also active in my church, as a Youth Minister.
